Equipment safety – safety at open-ended microwave tunnel ovens 

There is since some years an international (IEC) safety standard for commercial microwave tunnel ovens. Recently, a new international proposal for also industrial tunnel ovens has been completed, with Per O Risman as a contributor within an IEC expert team.
A specification table, an explanatory figure and a warning sign relating to microwave transparent barriers hindering access by personnel are given below, as examples.
